This movie was shot in the small town of Dahlonega, Georgia, and the story revolves around a famous actress who met a handsome innkeeper while filming a movie in a small Christmas-crazed town in Iowa.

Christmas Land (2015)

Based on the article in Mental Floss, this movie was shot in Farmington, around 17 miles north of Salt Lake City in Utah. This film is about a career-driven city woman who intends to sell the Christmas tree farm she inherited. While preparing for this, she gets to know the townspeople, and eventually the town and a certain man living there captured her heart.

Christmas in Conway (2013)

This movie is about a crotchety man named Duncan who brings his terminally ill wife, Suzy, home to those she loves at Christmas. Suzy’s nurse is portrayed by Mandy Moore and this was shot in the town of Conway, South Carolina.

The Christmas Card (2006) 

This Christmas movie is about a soldier who received a touching Christmas card during his time in Afghanistan. When he went back home, he faced another mission – to find the woman who sent that card to him.

A Christmas Melody (2015)

This movie features the dive herself Mariah Carey with Hocus Pocus’s Kathy Najimy and Mean Girls’ Lacey Chabert. In this film, the story of a single mother is tackled. She moves back home to the town of Silver Falls, where an old high school rivalry is reignited. This was filmed in Silver Falls, Ohio.
